Young Women's Adventure Group

New Outlook offers a seasonal girls group for middle school and high school girls. The goal of the group is to build self-esteem, promote leadership, explore new experiences and foster healthy, positive relationships.  

Throughout the school year, participants are exposed to a variety of activities in the area of arts and culture, female health and wellness, outdoor education, entrepreneurial skills, gender roles, service learning, and healthy self expression.  The girls group also collaborates with AIR (Artists in Residence), a local organization that provides music, theater, dance, and poetry workshops. 

Each year, the Young Women's Adventure Group culminates with a “Phenomenal Woman Night”, during which each participant honors a woman who has had a positive impact in their life.
